It has been another long cold winter in the UK so I decided to kickstart my wakeboarding for 2015 by heading to Chain Of Wakes Wakeboard School in Florida. I hadn't ridden behind the boat for a couple of months so it was nice to get back out on the water especially as I was riding behind C.O.W's brand new Mastercraft Xstar! (The wake was awesome!) Another thing I love about wakeboarding in Florida is that there's never a shortage of flat water, the lakes that C.O.W use are on a chain of interconnecting lakes, so there will always be a lake that's glass.
Whilst out in Florida I got my new Liquid Force setup for 2015. Behind the boat this year I am riding the LF Harlow, one of LF's sickest new women's boards and the LF Watson bindings. I'm riding the 135cm Harlow as it has a larger surface area and channeling which gives it more stability and softer landings down the wake.
Each weekday we got to ride two 30 minute wakeboard sets which meant there was lots of practice and water time. Whilst I was out there I was stoked to land some new spins and inverts too. It was awesome to be able to hang out with my housemates on the boat and cheer everyone on whilst they were riding everyday.
The weather at home isn't quite the same as Florida unfortunately haha but I am super excited for the season to start! :)
Here are some photos from the trip!
